A Boat Show & Water Sports Extravaganza will be held on March 20, 2010 to celebrate the opening of this new public boating facility. The facility, located on the Sampit River, includes 6 launch ramps, parking for 200 vehicles/trailers, restrooms and event stage area./nThe Boat Show & Water Sports Extravaganza will take place from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm on Saturday March 20, 2010. Area boat dealers and related vendors will display a variety of watercraft and equipment. The Georgetown County Sheriff´s Office, SCDNR, US Coast Guard, local fishing organizations and many others will present a variety of seminars and educational sessions throughout the day.
